A Unique Concept

I really enjoyed the concept of ShrinkLits by Maurice Sagoff. I felt there was a mixer of famous classic literature as well as stories I have never heard of before. There‘s also a bit a comedy mixed in with the short poetry style as well. The colored illustrations also brought out the main themes of the stories in a simplistic form. Some of the poems were difficult to understand, but I think that‘s because I have not read the majority of the full length stories in which these poems were based off of. Overall, if you enjoy reading classic literature I think you may enjoy this book.
